Say it again. America is the best country in the world.Greatest country in the history of the world.
Not in history.Say it again. America is the best country in the world.![]()
For me let me clarify this accordingly. Not in history.
It doesn't get better than Italy.Always wanted to visit Italy or maybe Greece or Spain. The Mediterranean countries intrigue me.
I was in the mountains of Umbria once, in a tiny town built in a giant circle.Anywhere with scenic views and beautiful mountains. It's those breath taking views that are so fantastic. . You just look and go.... WOWamazing views you never knew existed.
Now this is exactly what I'm talking about. The views so wonderful and peaceful man. Wish I could see that. You have a picture in your brain you'll never forget experiencing.I was in the mountains of Umbria once, in a tiny town built in a giant circle.
The biggest circle was the ground floor of the town, and then each ascending circle was a smaller circle. You had to climb marble stairs to climb up to get to the next level of the town. Fukkin mind boggling.
At the very top, was of course, this giant Church. I stood at thr balcony of the Church and looked down.
I saw these beautiful Italian kids playing soccer in the field below. The look of pure joy on their faces let me know this is God's country for sure.
In that moment, right there on the Church balcony, I thanked God He made me Italian.
I’d like to see those two places.Always wanted to visit Italy or maybe Greece or Spain. The Mediterranean countries intrigue me.
They are two of the most beautiful states in the country. Add Wyoming to the list.In the states, Utah or Tennessee

That sounds amazing man. You remind me of the time when my sister had a property in Washington state between Spokane and Seattle not far from the Canadian border. Anyways you were talking about the water tasting so good that you drank. Well I never knew that water actually could taste different. So I turned on her sink water and it was freezing cold. So I ask her why is the water so cold she says I have a well and it's drilled straight into the mountains that's mountain water brother. Needless to say I was so impressed by the difference I drank a shit load of that water. It's gets better. Much better, pipe.
I was once in the mountains of a tiny town in Campania. Most beautiful place I've ever seen, anywhere.
In this town, they had a walkway. Try to picture this if you can.
At the beginning of this walkway they had these gates. In order to walk the pathway, you had to open these gates.
Once opened, you stepped in and before you were these massive Roman pillars made of marble in both your left and right.
And going across these giant Roman marble pillars, at the top of these pillars, were hanging flowers that dropped down just above you. A hanging garden.
Now, as you walk down the path, you're going under this hanging garden filled with all kinds of different flowers. The smell was actually intoxicating.
Some meters into walking down this path of hanging gardens, on both sides, I noticed there was a fountain again made of marble with what looked like some kind of brass or copper handle on the side.
I stopped and checked it out. I turned the handle and water came up.
Well, who the fukk am I to let an opportunity like this pass me by?
So I bent down and drank. It was the purest, freshest, clear water I ever tasted. I gorged myself on it. I must have drank a gallon.
So, fully content, I continued down the path of these hanging gardens and every few meters, there would be another set of fountains.
Towards the end of this walk I caught a glimpse of something at the end. I thought NO FUKKIN WAY! That was my first thought.
So I got to the end, and it opened into an ancient Roman amphitheater fully intact.
My mouth dropped. It was overlooking the mountains of Campania.
So, it was so overwhelming, I really couldn't do anything else at that point but to go over into the amphitheater and have a seat and admire the view.
So I'm sitting in this fukkin crazy awesome amphitheater overlooking these incredible mountains. I thought there's only one thing left to do now.
I reach into my backpack, and pull out a Padron cigar.
Sat there in an absolute joy and happiness I never felt before and smoked my cigar.
About 20 minutes into my smoke, not really believing what I was experiencing, I hear voices.
I look over to my right and these local kids from the town are running around laughing and playing.
They see me and waive hi and continue playing. Then they all went and drank from the fountains. I thought well at least I know the water is safe to drink and not poisoned.
And then I had a thought that I never had before or since.
I looked up into the sky and thought Jesus, if you can, this is where I want to die.
