Alabama has two losses and barely beat Sourh Carolina at home and blew a 28 point lead to Georgia

They’re gonna get in because of the format but they have no shot to win anything this year. None

It’s not a secret that the SEC historically has mediocre teams that backfill the bottom of the rankings

LSU is just not very good. Brian Kelly had done a shitty job there, big shocker. The SEC is weaker than the Big Ten this season. It’s just that simple

113-40 is not great at a “big program”. That’s worse than 9-3 per season

26-9 also is worse than 9-3 every year.

Maybe I’m spoiled as a Buckeye fan, but you get fired if you have records like that.

You obviously misread my point. My point was pollsters have historically tended to backfill spots 15-25 with undeserving SEC teams to make the top teams have more ranked wins at the end of the year. That’s not exactly a secret. You should listen to Joel Klatt talk about this for 30 minutes. Even Paul Finebaum (Mr SEC) talks about it. It’s very well know

Also being ranked #20-25 means you kinda suck in the big picture. Thats LSU territory. Finishing in that range would get Ryan Day fired immediately.

Alabama took care of business tonight but let’s not act like this is some “statement” win. They’re not a team that’s going to win it all

Alabama/Georgia have been great last few seasons, but that’s just not the case this season.

Before the new format they’d both be done.

Believe me though, I do hope we get to see Alabama get beat down by an Ohio State or Oregon in the playoffs.
