He let 35 seconds go off the clock when he had 3 timeouts

The fact that they even were in position to score a touchdown was a miracle. Allar threw a horrible pass that the receiver bailed him out on

Day isn’t a “bad” coach - just cannot keep his players focused on the task at hand and struggles against top competition.

Day is a “good guy” - but being a good guy isn’t going to win you National championships. He is John Cooper Jr.

Nice enough guy to schmooze and get the job, wins enough to keep it but eventually Columbus will demand more than “we were really good this year”. Problem is it doesn’t always work out that the next guy in line is better - in fact it frequently doesn’t.

Dude has solidified his claim as worst coach in CFB after today beating out Tyrone Willingham fo all time honor.

Name a coach who has managed to mismanage and cost their team more - after a promising start. These 2 have done it time and again - but Franklin took lead with the latest failure.

I’d put Rich Rodriguez up there - but of recent CFB coaches those are the medalist in the loser Olympics.

There was another Penn State quarterback everyone thought was an NFL prospect that was being held back by Franklin not long ago. I don’t think he ever started a NFL game. I think it was Hankenburg. He stunk it up worse than Aller.
