In Chaing-Mai (sp?) they put on an Elephant show. They do tricks, as if it's a circus.

No, never ever have I ever got a tour guide for anything. I do not like going that route. She is with me so she knows where to go. I would never do this on my own. I do enjoy it when I go but I do not all the climbing around and on unstable ground. I have a bad knee and problems with my feet, so I have to move very slow and always careful. It was amazing though. I just got back home.

I got a tour guide in Odessa,Ukraine when I was there before the war. It was quite worth it and she was a babe. I still converse with her on WhatsApp.

Chiang Mai is an awesome place, one of my favorite places to go when I am in Thailand. I did the tiger thing too , 3 weeks later a French tourist got mauled at the same place I was at. I have been there 7-8 times, a great place.

My brother said the same thing. He even got a t-shirt there he liked it so much.

I hear it gets kind of smoggy at times though.
