Thought we had that one, boys. Unfolded beautifully. Run down late. Saved 2 bucks on scratches.

Ferris is a Virginia guy. He has always taken the Colonial meet very seriously since its inception.Race 8
$20 win #4 Style and Profile 10-1
$2 DD 4/4,10
Trainer Ferris Allen has a win at 71-1, and a place at 50-1 just in the last week. Can he do it again? Probably not. But this field is weak so might as well take a hit trainer at a big price.
Risked $24, -$705
Thanks, str. Didn’t realize he is a Virginia guy. Will pay extra attention to him now. I’ve always felt some trainers point to certain meets, so they deserve a second glance at those meets. Especially at big odds. Much appreciated!Ferris is a Virginia guy. He has always taken the Colonial meet very seriously since its inception.
Your thoughts on him at Colonial should serve you well in the long hall. Good job with that.

Wow. That’s awesome. So many talented trainers seem to come from that region. Voss, Sheppard, Violette, etc. Appreciate the info!I raced there in the summer from 97 until I retired from racing in early 01. I know Ferris very well. Certainly know the trainers from Md. that were around back in that time period. Actually 76-01 but Colonial was only open those last few years. Ever have a question about any of them, fire away. Happy to help.
But through….Horrible
No way out
