One of the best stories I've ever told involves sky diving.

A jumper froze and wouldn't release from the airplane wing (which was gliding - engine off) so the jump master had to reach out with his foot and kick her repeatedly until she let go of the wing so that the plane could start back up and gain altitude. It was awesome.

And the same day a jumper's emergency shute deployed without pulling the cord when he jumped. Everyone was feeling really good about the parachutes being packed properly after that one.

I'm not afraid of heights but I don't think I will even dare to do skydiving. Just too extreme.

Everything is cool. No aniety. No stress. Until you have to climb out of the plane. Then your praying the shute opens. When it does its like the greatest feeling of relief you've ever had.
