Even though the mods probably didn't know everything, I do believe they knew that there would be some sort of down time that may be significant. No way this is a DOS, the date and time was determined some time ago. There is a lot more that we will never know but they were put in a terrible position and I put the blame strictly on new ownership. Hopefully the new owners bought all of the assets and liabilities and they will make the members owed prizes whole.

It's looking lime BMR may be a solid alternative

it's the same freaking thing, same reviews, same odds, run by a lot of the same people. what kind of total $ amount of points would disappear?

The best thing about BMR being like SBR is that the content is what most are used to seeing. Granted, increased traffic would be great and it is getting better each day. :highfive:

Also, the tech support at BMR is obviously orders of magnitude better. Hell the BMR site is up and running and SBR has been down for 4 days. I'm amazed that the "new mgmt" at SBR only have tech support 9-5 Mon-Saturday and no other support outside of 9-5 M-F. WTH.

It's a 24/7 business running a website. Kudos to BMR and its team for knowing how to manage and maintain a website.

Does anyone know how to log into the Pick 6 contest? I see some people are logged in and posting comments on that page but I cannot log in. I get and SQL error message every time I try.

I can log in to my spreadsheet page but that's it. When I log in to the spreadsheet page and then try to go to the Pick 6 page, it does not show me logged in.

Is there a backdoor to logging in to the contest? It seems like that is the only way to communicate with Spider/LT now.

what the sbr come back up or not imo if it did come back up for what they did to it posters now for about 2 months nobody should ever post at that site again, at least not the reg.but a fool is born every day but for the reg to go back posting after all the bs, that would just be plain stupid.

You might be on to something CK. The SBR odds page (which is still working) does not show any US based odds. But, their main book ratings page shows only US books. I'm confused.
