The area right back behind Bally’s /Horseshoe is not that bad. The stage door casino has dollar bottles and $5 shots. The Italian restaurant next to it called Batista's hole in the wall serves unlimited wine with the meal

I’ve done the walk from Bally’s (side door) to Ellis Island a hundred times. Never had a problem. However, I’ve never attempted it at night.

Funny thing is, if you've been to st Louis, Memphis, Detroit, etc

Las Vegas is totally minor league compared to any of those places when it comes to "bad" areas
