This is probably their last chance to get a win the rest of the season. They have a projected 42% chance (KenPom) tonight vs DePaul. The next closest projection is 20% at home vs St. Johns in late February. I could easily see a 0-20 conference record coming.

He's a former player at Georgetown who played for a legendary coach John Thompson while at Georgetown plus the fact that Georgetown is a very liberal school who probably doesn't want to fire a black coach who played at their school. Someone could say otherwise, but I have no idea what the other ideas would be.
