Inflation has hit me hard

Price Diet Cokes, hit dogs, gas for car, etc all burning holes in my pocket.

I lost big on KY Derby, been sleeping at friends house, avoiding collection guy Guido

Now Uncke Joe is giving us an 18 cents p gallon break

I can square up and fire away over the 4th!

I like the idea of savings $0.18c/gal but lets be honest... That reduces the increase in the cost of gasoline over the last year from a 95% increase to a 90% increase.

I'll take the $2 I save when I fill up and buy a hot dog at the corner store.


I know I'm bitching about someone trying to save me a few bucks, which is stupid, but we need something bigger to address this problem.... Like, put a moratorium on oil companies shipping refined fuels overseas. Doing so would mean 1M bbl/day of gasoline would hit the US market and drop prices $1-$2/gallon.

I believe it’s got to go through congress to pass, maybe they will show some guts and not pass it, just a political ploy, kinda like canceling any student loan debt. If that .18 cents a gallon is going to change your life financially you’ve got bigger problems than gas prices
