Yes, KVBster, @gauchojake , @KVB knows the deal. But Snot is the best band ever to come out of SB and then Mikey’s band Kronix. Rebulution is a fun band but very different than Snot. Still good but not on the level of Snot. Get some KVB!!! The Cliffs rule !!!
As far as location and proximity to the ocean etc. UCSB the best there is. When we were there IV was called HIV. I saw Body Count and Deftones at the Isla Vista Brewing Company , IVBC!! @gauchojake , we need to add @KVB to the Del Playa Gang asap !!
I've probably mentioned this before, just like so many of my travels, but I spend a few months doing contract work for Emirates Airlines in Dubai. I stayed at the crew dorm instead of a hotel but the offices were just down the street from the tennis courts. There are lots of restaurants in the area and we would eat near there frequently.

We used to eat at the restaurants near there a lot. There are quite a few for the tennis tourists and they are open all year 'round.
