I’m exhausted, I’ve been up since 7 AM yesterday and hardly slept any on the plane. Unfortunately, while we can go on the ship about 10:30a we cannot go to the cabin until about 1:30

I’ve never been able to sleep on a plane either.

This former NFL player was on a flight I was on once and he was sleeping like a baby. Used to flying I guess. (He worked for Texas State University - we were both going to watch the hoops team play in March Madness on the West Coast)

I remember the same thing happening on the cruise I went on ages ago.

We were able to get on 4-5 hours before it actually departed.

Couldn’t go in the casino since they had to be six miles (I think) out in international waters to kick that off.

Found a place on the third deck that had a bar, some lounge chairs and some shade. Was drinking pina coladas. When the boat finally started to move that afternoon I stood up and was definitely wobbly . The sun and drinks did a number on me that first day.
