The only ones I ever see is someone hitting a big parlay or going all in three or four times in a row you never see someone say with a $500 account betting 100 a game and running it up same amount every game it’s virtually impossible

Started with $2500 before football season (would have had more if needed) and ran it to like 15K betting mostly 4 team 13 point and 3 team 10 point teasers. (the open variety, as much as I could)
Mostly risking around 2K

Been doing it for years --- less and less options. Most places dont offer it no more

$500 account trying to grind up on $100 bets??? Of course it will fail.

@flyingillini will tell you, variance is a bitch.

Common man.

Professional gambling without scalping and middling is very difficult.

Sure, if you are selective you can make SOME money, but not really enough to really to make it worth your while.
If you are smart enough to beat the game straight up, you are smart enough to do something better
(doctor, lawyer..whatever)
And if your bankroll is big enough to be selective, it would be better just to put the money in the stock market and make 200-300K a year, without even lifting a finger.

My "prime years" were betting into Pinny's opening numbers and buying back at Matchbook with their 2 cent lines. All the lines had to move like 3-5 cents and it was already profitable.
Didnt take a genius to make good money in those days.
Today is a different matter...

Exchanges offer a lot when integrated with the currect landscape.

Can literally book bets and in the LIVE arena too. There is so much EV it's ridiculous. I'm oozing EV and even sell it back at times.

In some respects, there's never been a better time. My office is firing on all cylinders and I suppose adding to the quality of the times is the summation of decades of experience and the lack of risk management on exchanges.

It is my belief that we are entering what will be another golden age. My office has been in it for a while now. We are rolling.

It’s a dream to do this

Our Kalshi returns were over 1300% for the month of January (and December 31st).

That's over hundreds and hundreds of trades. A $100 account would be over $1300.

Haven't seen a money manager, hedge fund, asset class, or asset that has moved like that YTD.

The day I accessed the exchanges was the day I was like...

3 times recently and cashed out from $200 to 1,600 and ,1750, and another parlay waiting to hit if Seattle wins.
